About Emma

I am a New York City–based freelance journalist specializing in the luxury lifestyle space, with a focus on travel, real estate, design, private aviation, and yachts, as well as the people shaping these worlds. My work is regularly published in national and international outlets, including Robb Report, Forbes, Elite Traveler, Galerie, Marie Claire, Business Insider, House Beautiful, Penta, Mansion Global, Sotheby’s Reside, Christie’s magazine, La Patiala, Editorialist, and many more. Before embarking on my freelance career in 2020, I served as a staff editor at Elite Traveler.

Alongside editorial work, I collaborate with global luxury brands and hospitality companies to produce branded content that reflects their identities with narrative depth, both as a writer and copy editor. Beyond the page, I am seasoned panelist and moderator, lending my voice to in-person panels and conversations hosted by some of the world’s foremost companies and renowned design, real estate, travel, and architectural experts. I’ve also been featured as a guest on several podcasts, offering insights as a subject-matter expert in luxury lifestyle, ultra-high-net-worth travel, and real estate.

I’m originally from Delafield, Wisconsin and graduated from the Missouri School of Journalism at the University of Missouri–Columbia, with an emphasis in magazine publishing.
